Is Sam the man ?
To lead West Ham out of the massive problems they seem to have got into this season....?
A good win against a very poor Fulham was followed by a shocker against already relegated Crystal Palace... I just dont think thay have the players to get them through a dog fight at the bottom and will Sam be the right man to spend any cash they have in January... He has already fell out with Joe Cole and Carlton Cole has become a laughing stock after leaving by mutual agreement and then coming back on loan... I think they need to act now and not drag on with Big Sam...who lets be honest is a little overated as a manager....

think the andy carroll saga is the big downer,im thinking sam was sorting the team to play for him and now hes on holiday they are stuck, still believe there are 4 worse teams in league than poor hammers, mackems, palace, cardiff, fulham are bad teams and in similar boat to hammers , no options upfront. mackems fate will be known by march as they are dirtiest team in the world and cant beat anyone except man city and the toon, whom i reliably informed were drugged before the game by a mackem sandwich maker cos thats all they are good at making sarnies and stealing bread.

Hmm, it doesn't look good for Sam, however, who could you replace him with ??
I think he'll stay there till the end of the season, and i do think once Andy Carroll is back then things will turn around . Trouble is, like everyone is saying, Sam put all his eggs in one basket with him, and now it's gone tits up .. As for the 'Lump' Carlton Cole ..what the fck is going on, just get him out of there, what a waste of space he is on the football field . I'm not sure what Mork & Mindy, (Brady and Gold) are doing, or Sullivan for that matter, but they need to dig into their pockets in January and find some cash .. If Sam was to go, then my choice would be ...... what for it .. Glenn Hoddle At least he knows how to play proper football

Carroll back on track
Carroll glad to be training
West Ham striker Andy Carroll is delighted to be back in training following a double fracture in his right foot. Andy Carroll: England striker is back training with West Ham The England international returned to the Hammers' Chadwell Heath training complex on Thursday to begin working towards match fitness, although manager Sam Allardyce has already stated his desire to avoid rushing the £15million record signing back into action. Carroll told his club's official website: "I am so happy to be back here at the training ground around all the lads. "You don't realise how much you miss all the banter and other stuff until you are away from it, so it's great to be here again. "I flew back a few times during my treatment to watch matches and catch up with my family, team-mates and friends, but now I'm back for good. "It has been a long, hard process but now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. "It felt great to be out on the pitch jogging and kicking a ball in the open air, even if it was a bit cold! "It's been really hard watching the games while I've been out. "We haven't picked up the results we have deserved, so I can't wait to get out there again and start helping the team to win some games." update btd
